Holy Communion Service is led by Rt. Rev. Dr. Mathews Mar Makarios Episcopa.  Please note the change in the norm, Holy Communion is in Malayalam which would normally be an English service.  Common Session at 9:30 am.

Annual Church Picnic:
Pre-registration counters are open outside in the foyer for the upcoming picnic.  Coordinating team and your Prayer Group Area Representatives are at the desk to assist you pre-register for the picnic.  Please pick your tickets today. 
Revised Registration costs as follows:
-Family $30
-Senior Couples only $15
-Individual $10

Youth Fellowship Announcement:
The CMTC Youth group is inviting you all to Taste of India, a fundraising event for the upcoming Regional Youth Conference in 2020. The event will take place on Sunday, August 25th, immediately after the Holy Communion service. There will be food stations featuring authentic foods from Andhra Pradesh, Punjab, Maharashtra, West Bengal, Goa, Tamil Nadu, and Kerala. We are looking for volunteers to help bring flavors featuring these states by using their culinary skills. For those who are interested, please contact Riya Thomas or Maneesha Thomas. More details about the event will be announced in the coming weeks. 
 
Harvest Festival & The Canadian Mar Thoma Church Carnival to take place on Sunday, September 1.
-An elaborate festival and celebration, the first ever in the history of the Canadian Mar Thoma Church. 
-We are planning to have games, activities, auctions, garage sale, raffle draw and lots more for the whole family.
-Cultural programs and performances are being planned by the Sunday School, Youth Fellowship, Seniors Fellowship, Sevika Sangham, Yuvajana Sangham, Edavaka Mission and the Choir. 
-If you would like to showcase group or solo talents, please contact Robin Thomas, Kuber George, Haris George and Manoj Kompithra to register your act. 
-This event is open to all and open to the public.  So, you are encouraged to invite your friends and families to this mega celebration. There will be authentic food stalls, tents. 
-Time to relax and enjoy a beautiful afternoon having a time of fellowship with family and friends.  
-Free tickets will be available on registration starting August 11. 
-We are also organizing a “Free BBQ for all” @ 4 pm. 
-Please do not forget to bring a set of clothes to change into and enjoy the afternoon to the fullest. 
-Each family is encouraged to bring one item towards the Harvest Festival.  This can be baked, bought or grown in your backyard or your neighbours/friend’s backyard – a way to express our gratefulness to the Lord. 
-A flyer giving you more details will be available next week.  So, please come and enjoy and make it a blessed event.

Senior Fellowship Announcements: 
Senior Fellowship picnic is taking place on Tuesday, August 13 at the Miliken Park, Scarborough.  Tuesday, August 13 – mark the day.  This is open to all members.  Please note, entrance to the park and parking is FREE.  If you are interested, please contact Senior Fellowship Coordinator, Mathew C Samuel, Samuel Pappy or Sunil Achen.  
 
Malayalam Classes: Malayalam Classes will resume starting August 11 in the basement.  All those registered and willing to register, may make your way to the basement on Sunday, August 11.  More details to follow from the Coordinator, Dr. Bapu Cherian. 
 
Students Thanksgiving on Sunday, August 11, 2019 only for University going students. This will take place during the Holy Communion Service.
