Introducing “5 LOAVES & 2 COATS” – Our Neighbourhood Mission Inspired by Christ’s Compassion

We are excited to unveil our new Neighborhood Mission, “5 LOAVES & 2 COATS”, a heartfelt initiative rooted in the teachings and compassion of Jesus Christ. This mission draws inspiration from the miraculous event where Jesus fed the five thousand with just five loaves and two fish, highlighting the abundance that can be achieved through sharing and selflessness.

Why “5 LOAVES & 2 COATS”?

5 LOAVES: Just as the young boy offered his humble 5 Loaves, we aim to share our resources and blessings with those in need. Whether it’s providing nourishment for the body or the soul, our mission is to extend a helping hand and make a positive impact in the lives of our neighbors.

2 COATS: Reflecting the wisdom of Jesus’ teaching to give one of your two coats to someone who has none, 2 Coats symbolizes our commitment to addressing the basic needs of warmth and protection. By sharing our abundance, we strive to create a community where no one is left without essential care and support.

How Can You Get Involved?

We invite each member of our church family to participate in 5 LOAVES & 2 COATS. Your involvement can be as simple as contributing protein-rich edibles and basic hygiene products, donating gently used coats to those in need, or volunteering your time.
