8. Doors Open:
We had a wonderful presentation of our magnificent Church to our community yesterday at the Doors Open Stouffville Program. There was a huge turnout of an enthusiastic crowd flowing incessantly to see and find out what this complex is all about from 10.00am till 4.pm. Also there was an energetic group of young men and women specially trained to explain who we are as a Marthoma community and our heritage in Kerala as well as in Canada. Our youngsters did that so well to get overwhelming appreciation from the visitors. Many of our visitors expressed interest in coming and attending our services. Our MP and Federal Minister for Indigenous Affaires Hon. Jane Philpott was one of the first visitors who came and commented on our accomplishment here. As the coordinator I take this opportunity to appreciate our youth who took leadership in in organizing and running yesterday’s events along with the Sevika Sanghom Members and other parish members.
Thank you all.
