Statement from the Executive Committee
The Executive Committee of the CMTC would like to make the following statement to all our members. For the last several years, we have been debating about the inadequacies in our church and to come up with an alternative place of worship that caters to the need of all our members. Ultimately a decision to construct a new church building was taken and we are about realize that dream of having a new church with modern facilities. During the course of this journey, the decisions taken might have caused alienation and feeling of exclusion among some of our members. However, we want to convey to all our members that the decisions were taken with the sole intention of having a better suited place of worship for all our members and was not meant to offend anyone. To all our brethren who were not in agreement with the various decisions, we want to let them know that it was not intentional or personal in any way and it happened during the course of hard and difficult decision making process and we are requesting for your understanding. At this momentous occasion, we are requesting all of our members to forget all differences, forgive and restore our friendships and fellowship with each other. After all, treating each other as brothers and sisters in Christ is what we do as Christians. We implore everyone to open a new chapter in our faith journey and move together as one worshipping community in peace and harmony so that His name will be glorified.
