2. Edavaka Mission Annual General body meeting notice
Dear all Edavaka mission members,
The Annual General Body meeting of The Canadian Mar thoma Church Toronto Edavaka Mission will be held on Sunday, March 12 2023 immediately after the Holy Communion Service at 159 Sandiford drive Stouffville , ON, L4A 0Y2 to transact the following agenda.
1)Present and approve Annual report for the year 2022.
2) Present and approve audited Annual account for the year 2022
3) Present and approve budget for the year 2023
4) AOB with the permission the Chair

3. Sunday school March retreat
The Canadian Mar thoma Church Sunday School is excited to invite all students from Nursery to Grade 12 to the annual March break retreat that is to be held at our church on March 11, 2023, between 9:30 am to 4:00pm.
The theme for the retreat is "Walk the Talk" inspired from 1st John 2:6 'Whoever claims to live in Him must walk as Jesus did'.
The main speaker for the event will be Mr. Jason John.
Registration fee is $15 for early-bird registrants before Feb 26th and $20 for registrants before March 5th .
Registration is also open to families & friends who are not members of CMTC.

CMTC Seniors’ Fellowship meeting for March will be held on Thursday ,March 9th 2023 10:30 am at our Church.Please attend the meeting prayerfully.

6. Yuvajana Sakhyam Meeting announcement.
A Yuvajana Sakhyam meeting will be held next Sunday, March 12th at our church immediately after the service. All Yuvajana Sakhyam members and new comers are welcome to attend this meeting. Food will be served to all attendees after the meeting.

7. Regional Youth Conference
Dear youths,
We are excited to announce that the Regional Youth Conference is back for
the first time since COVID, and it will be held on May 20th -22nd during the
Victoria Day long weekend. This year, we will be cohosting alongside the
St. Mathew’s Mar Thoma Church. As always, the conference is open to participants aged 13 and above. Since the diocesan exam is happening during the same weekend, students aged 13 and above will have the choice EITHER to participate in the conference OR to take part in the diocesan exam. Registration will open in the coming weeks, so please stay

1. The Canadian Mar Thoma Church - Toronto deeply condoles the demise of Mr. P. C. OOMMEN, Puthenpurackal Poonethu (91 yrs), father of Mr. Jacob Oommen [Regi] (#78 Ridge Gate Cres., East Gwillimbury, Mount Albert, ON, L0G 1M0 , Area-4 prayer Group) who passed away at Venmony in Kerala on March 03rd, 2023).
The dearly departed was a member of the Sehion MTC, Venmony.
Funeral arrangements are yet to be decided.
Let us uphold Regi, Jessy, Talia, Tanisha and Matthew in fervent prayers for peace and consolation in bereavement.
2. The Canadian Mar Thoma Church - Toronto deeply condoles the demise of Mr. K. V. KURIEN (81 yrs), Retd.Head Postmaster, Karuchera Thekkemoolayil, father of Mrs. Jiji Rajan (#87 Taylor Wood Ave., Bolton, ON L7E1J6, Canada - Area 6 prayer group) who passed away in Kerala today (March 05, 2023).
The dearly departed was a member of the St Johns Orthodox Valiyapalli, Vakathanam, Kottayam.
Let us uphold Rajan, Jiji, Hagin, Stephanie and Haris in fervent prayers for peace and consolation in bereavement.
11.Today we observed as Diocesan Sunday. As part of the pulpit exchange, Rev.Sunil Chacko, Vicar of St.Mathew’s MTC visited our parish and celebrated Holy Communion service. Roji Achen is deputed to the St.Mathew’s MTC.
