1. Next Sunday, August 28th, 2022, we will have Holy Communion service in English at 9:30 am.
We are celebrating our Harvest Festival & Garage sale next week after the Holy Communion service.
We will also have the Students Thanks giving service next week. All school and university going students are requested to attend this service.
All High school graduates of our parish going to the university for the first time this September, are requested to contact our Sunday school superintendent Mrs.Elizabeth Thomas in-person after today’s service or by phone @ 416-843-2048 and provide the student details by today or tomorrow.
We will also commemorate our 41st year of our congregation being elevated as a
Parish during the service next week.
Special Offertories collected during next week service.
a. The Parish Day collection which is a one day income of the family will be collected during next week service. All parish members and families are requested to donate generously in the Parish Day Collection. You may use the special envelopes or use the regular envelopes and mark it as Parish Day Offertory.
b. Special offertory from students will be taken during the service.
2. Face-mask requirements
The wearing of masks is encouraged within the church premises during the services. However, each person to decide if they use or disuse of face-mask.

The Canadian Mar Thoma Church ,Toronto will be celebrating our annual Harvest Festival on Sunday August 28, 2022, immediately after the Holy Communion service.
This is an annual family event that marks the end of our summer activities, by sharing our bountiful harvest with each other.
Every age group will enjoy this program as there is something for everyone: music and entertainment by our members, games, food sale, a mouth-watering Tattukada, homely pickles and eatables, and a few delightful surprises.

Remember: it is good to give thanks to our Lord for everything He has blessed us with. Save the date and participate!

a. Fasting prayer on Wednesday, August 24th @10:30 am virtually on Google Meet.
b. Edavaka Mission prayer meeting on Friday, August 26th @ 8 pm virtually on Google Meet.
c. Chain Prayer on Saturday - 6.00 AM to 6.00 PM.

5. Youth Fellowship Announcements
We, the Canadian Marthoma Church Youth Committee invite you to our first ever symposium - "An Introduction To Post Secondary Life", happening on Wednesday, August 24, 2022, at 6:30 PM at The Canadian Mar Thoma Church.
This event is geared towards youth who are currently pursuing/planning to pursue post-secondary education and want to hear from academic staff and graduates who have been a part of the post-secondary culture in different sectors and have a wide range of exposure in this regard.
Interested parents and youth are welcome to be a part of this event, so please come out and engage yourselves in this discussion!

A combined prayer meeting of youth fellowship and Yuvajana Sakhyam will be held in the church right after the service today. All youths and yuvajana sakhyam are encouraged to attend this prayer meeting.

7. Senior fellowship Announcement
Senior fellowship meeting for this month will be held on Thursday Aug 25th 2022 at 10:30 am. On this day, we will have our annual BBQ get together at our Church.

A baby boy JONAH MATHEW SAMUEL is born to our Area 4- members Dr.Christopher Samuel & Mrs.Ann Samuel on 15th AUGUST.
Both Mom and baby are doing well.
