  Announcements for Sunday August 15, 2021

 

1.               Happy Independence Day-Wishes to all celebrating 75th Indian Independence day

 

2.                 Next Sunday, August 22nd, we will have Holy Communion service in English at 10 AM.

Online google form for the in-person attendance registration will be available from tomorrow 7 pm and is open for all members, families with children and guests.

All successful registrants will receive confirmation email by Saturday.

This service is also live streamed on our YouTube Channel.

3.                 Virtual House Visit

All members from Area Prayer group 2 are requested to contact your area representative Mr.Thomas baby to confirm  your meeting time with Roji Achen.

4.                  Harvest Festival 2021

CMTC is organizing this year’s Harvest Festival on Aug 29th after the church service. This is planned as a family event filled with talent programs from church members, auctions and bake sale. Free lunch will also be served for all the in-person attendees.

We welcome all members and families to attend this event in-person and also  request all families to donate home grown vegetables, plants, home made food items including pickles, kerala snacks, speciality cakes, paintings or any  brand new items for auctions.

The auctions and talent shows will take place in church and we request all to participate in-person. However if anyone is unable to attend in-person that day and wish to participate in the auction and talent shows, we are also working on arranging online options. More details will be announced closer to the date of the event.

You can start bringing non-perishable items from August 22nd onwards and hand over to the Harvest Festival coordinators Itty Thomas or Johnson Jacob.

If you are unable to come to church and need help to pick items for auctions from your home, please contact your area representatives in advance to schedule the pickup. Area reps will also assist to deliver the items confirmed in online auction to respective members.

Request all members, families and children to take this as an opportunity to come together and enjoy the fellowship, which we all are missing over an year following the lockdowns. This event will be organized by strictly following all Covid protocols.

5.                 Onam Sadhya

Yuvajana Sakhyam & Young Families are organizing ONAM SADHYA parcels on Sunday, August 22nd after the Holy Communion service. An individual ONAM SADHYA parcel which costs $17 per order is arranged.

All those who are interested can pay by cash or through e-transfer(Mention “Onam Sadhya” in Memo) to  ys@marthoma.ca. Free home delivery can be arranged if you are unavailable to pick your order from church after service. Kindly participate and make this initiative a huge success.

6.                    Edavaka mission Announcement

 

1.              On Tuesday, August 17th and Friday, August 20th   - weekly prayer meeting held @ 8 pm virtually using google meet.

2.              Chain prayer held every Saturday 6:00 am to 6:00 pm.

7.                 Fasting prayer  will be held on Wednesday, August 18th @10:30 am virtually using  

Google meet.

8.              Area Prayer Meeting

An Area 2 prayer group meeting will be held on Sunday, August 22nd @ 6:00 pm through google meet. Roji Achen will attend this meeting. All Area 2 prayer group members are requested to attend this meeting prayerfully.

9.              Youth Fellowship Announcement

A youth prayer meeting is scheduled today  at 12:30pm in the church sanctuary. Every youth member 13 and above is invited to attend this meetings. Refreshments will be provided.
