Next Sunday, March 8, Holy Communion Service in English @ 10:00 am led by Rt. Rev. Dr. Isaac Mar Philoxenos Episcopa. Sunday School begins at 9 am. Please note, Daylight saving time will begin on Sunday, March 8. 


Please note the time change for worship service on Sunday, March 15 - Holy Communion Service in Malayalam will take place at 10:30 am. Sunday School will begin at 9 am. 


Blessing of the Foundation Stone for the Phase 2 Construction Project:

On Sunday, March 8, its an honor and privilege to have our beloved Thirumeni, Rt. Rev. Dr. Isaac Mar PhiloxenosEpiscopa bless the foundation stone for the Phase 2 Construction Project.  You are kindly requested to prayerfully attend the same. 


The Inaugural function of the Canadian Mar Thoma Regional Committee:

The Canadian Mar Thoma Regional Committee will be officially inaugurated by the Diocesan Bishop Rt. Rev. Dr. Isaac Mar Philoxenos at 4pm on Saturday, March 7th, at the Canadian Mar Thoma Church, 159 Sandiford Dr., Whitchurch-Stouffville, Ontario.  Rev. Peter Noteboom, General Secretary of Canadian Council of Churches will give the keynote address. This is a significant milestone in the history of the Mar Thoma Church in Canada as a diaspora community and we humbly request you to be part of the same.  Please come and be blessed and be a blessing! Dinner will be served to all in attendance.

Sunday School Announcements:

·        Deadline for March Break Retreat Registration forms is Sunday, March 1, that is today.  Please make sure you have submitted the forms to the respective Sunday school teachers or have at least submitted names of students indicating their participation for the retreat.  March Break Retreat will take place at the St. Mathews MTC on Saturday, March 14 from 9 am to 5 pm.  We have reserved two buses to transport students and teachers to the retreat and back.  Students and teachers are expected to attend the retreat.  Buses will leave the church premises at 8 am and will bring the students and teachers back to the church at 6 pm.   Please note that students and teachers must bring their own water bottles.

·        Sunday school students must stay back today for the practice session in the sanctuary soon after the Holy Communion Service, in preparation for the upcominginauguration of the Canadian Mar Thoma Regional Committee taking place on Saturday, March 7, from 4pm to 5.30pm. Lunch will be provided for children soon after the practice.

It is with deep sadness that we inform you of the passing away of Philip Issac (75 years) on Friday, February 28, 2020 in Kerala, India (Anaprampal MTC).  He is the brother of our member, Mariamma Thomas (C M Thomas Uncle &Ponnamma Aunty), Father of our member, Priya Joseph (Shibu & Priya), and Brother-in-law of John Chacko (Kunjumon).  Funeral details are not available.  Please uphold the bereaved family in our prayers.
