Sunday School Teachers Fellowship Meeting:
Teachers Fellowship meeting of the Canadian Mar Thoma Church Sunday School will be held on Sunday, July 28, 2019 soon after the Holy Communion Service at the Canadian Mar Thoma Church, 159 Sandiford Drive, Whitchurch-Stouffville, ON L4A 0Y2 to transact the following agenda.
1. Election of one representative from Sunday School to the Phase 2 building committee.
2. A.O. B with the permission of the Chair.

Sunday school students are encouraged to take their Talent Show Artwork home, that is displayed in the foyer. After today, it will be cleaned out.
Annual Church Picnic:
Pre-registration counters will be open outside in the foyer today, to better plan and prepare for the upcoming picnic being held on Saturday, August 24. Coordinating team and your Prayer Group Area Representatives will be there to assist you to pre-register for the picnic. Please pick your tickets today. Registration costs is $30 for a family of 5 and individual tickets for $15. Your participation is greatly encouraged and appreciated.
Youth Fellowship Announcement:
As announced, our Youth Fellowship participated in the St. Thomas Day 2019 Celebration that was held yesterday, July 20, representing the Canadian MTC. We had members and their families attend the celebration. Few highlights from the program yesterday. Pictures being projected….
The CMTC Youth group is inviting you all to Taste of India, a fundraising event for the upcoming Regional Youth Conference in 2020. The event will take place on Sunday, August 25th, immediately after the Holy Communion service. There will be food stations featuring authentic foods from Andhra Pradesh, Punjab, Maharashtra, West Bengal, Goa, Tamil Nadu, and Kerala. We are looking for volunteers to help bring flavors to these states we are featuring by using their culinary skills. For those who are interested, please contact Riya Thomas or Maneesha Thomas. More details about the event will be announced in the coming weeks.

Edavaka Mission is also looking for sponsors to sponsor the prize for winners for the Trivia Bible Quiz.

15th Diocesan Edavaka Mission conference – Program information
The Conference committee wish to thank the members of the Canadian Mar Thoma church who have registered for the conference. Here are some important information about the conference program:
On August 1stThursday, the registration desks will be open at the St.Mathew’s church foyer from 4:00 PM to 5:30 PM to issue the welcome kit and badge to the delegates. All those who are registered for the conference must come between these timings and collect their welcome kit and badge. Those who have not yet paid the registration fee are requested to bring a cheque for $100/- per person payable to the St. Mathew’s Mar Thoma church Toronto and pay it at the registration desk.Dinner will be served for all conference delegates between 5:30 PM to 6:30 PM in the Fellowship hall. The inauguration program starts with worship at 7 P.M. The inaugurating program is open to the CMTC members. However, all non-registered members must pay $10.00 and reserve their dinner before July 28th if you wish to participate in the dinner. Please let your Edavaka Mission secretary know if you are planning to participate in the dinner.
Sunday’s Holy Communion service will start at 8 AM followed by the closing ceremony at 10:30 AM. The program will end by 11:30 AM with lunch. All are welcome to attend the Holy Communion Service and the closing ceremony.
SevikaSangham held their annual picnic at Tiffany Falls, Hamilton on Saturday, July 20. It was a blessed event. Few pictures from the picnic is being displayed. Special thanks to the Coordinators, Lincy Benjamin and Leena Jonson Chacko, SevikaSangham Secretary, JeenaSajan, Committee members and all families who attended.
