Next Sunday, March 11, 2018, we will have Praise & Worship service at 9:00 AM followed by Holy Communion service in English at 9:30 AM.
Edavaka Mission Prayer meeting
The Lent Prayers for the year 2018 will commence from Friday, March 9 to Sunday, April 1, 2018 and will held in homes or the Church. Prayers begin typically at 7:00 pm daily. Parishioners interested in holding Lent prayers in their home are requested to give their names along with the dates to Edavaka Mission Secretary, Santhosh Varghese.
The first Lent Prayer will be held at the residence of Mr. Samuel John (Joji & Latha) on Friday, March 9 at 7:00 PM.

Sunday School announcement
The Sunday school is organizing a one-day March Break Retreat on Saturday, March 10, 2018 at the Canadian Mar Thoma Church, Toronto, from 9 am to 4 pm. The theme for the retreat is Transformers, based on Romans 12:2
The cost of Registration for Students is $15 per student, and for teachers & volunteers it is $5 each.
The day will be filled with singing, talks, food, activities and games.
Every student and teacher is expected and encouraged to be part of this event.

Thank you note from Varughese family
The Varughese Family would like to thank Rev. Shibu Samuel, Rev. Moncy Varughese, Rev. George Jacob and Rev. Jacob Anthony for officiating the Wake and funeral service of the late Benny Mathews Varughese. Also a big thank you to Mr. Santosh Varughese for his role as lay Steward for Friday and Saturday.
The Varughese Family would like to thank the Canadian Mar Thoma Church Executive Committee and all Church members who helped in so many ways and also for their prayers, presence, support and words of comfort during this difficult time.
1. Benny Mathews Varughese
The funeral services for Mr. Benny Mathews Varughese, our member and beloved son of Mr. Varughese Mathews & Mrs. Mary varughese was held yesterday at our church. Thanks to all who attended the services and supported the bereaving family at this most difficult time in their life.
Once again, on behalf of the Church, I would like to express our sincere condolence to all the family members.
2. Mrs. Mariyamma Idiculla (81 years), retired headmistress, Kulangara house, Mekozhoor, mother of our member Mr. Thomas Idicula (Regi) passed away on Monday. Regi is in India and attended the funeral services held yesterday at the Mekozhoor Trinity Mar Thoma Church.
