Worship Services

Next Sunday, Nov 19 th , we will have Praise & Worship service at 9:00 AM followed by Holy Communion service in Malayalam at 9:30 AM.

Sunday School announcement


1) World Sunday School Day is being celebrated in our church today .There will be a special WSSD program organized by our Sunday School following the church service. The Diocesan exam awards ( Grade 5 to grade 10) and the Academic awards ( nursery to Grade 4) will be awarded to the students during the program today. All Students and Teachers are requested to participate. WSSD offertory envelopes will be available.

2) Kids helping Kids is a Diocese initiated project where each child
is encouraged to contribute an offertory of $1. All proceeds will be sent to the Diocese to help the needy children and to give Christmas gifts to children in Mexico during Mexico mission.
Deadline for this project is end of November.

Edavaka Mission announcement

 

We will have our next Edavaka Mission prayer meeting on coming Friday at 7:30 PM at the church. Bible study based of Book of Revelation will continue next Friday onwards.

This year’s house-to-house Christmas carolling will start on Sunday 19 Nov and will run through to Dec 17th.

The Edavaka Sangham Register List 2017-18

 

Dear Members,

 

Updated Edavaka Sangham list (voters list) of the Canadian Mar Thoma church for the year 2017-2018 has been published and posted on the notice board. Objection if any, to this list, shall be given in writing to the Vicar by the respective member within 10 days of publication and the Vicar shall consider the objection and decide the same and proceed to take appropriate follow-up action thereon.

Any person eligible for membership in Edavaka Sangham whose name is not included in the Edavaka Sangham register may present a special application to the Vicar for inclusion of his/her name in the register within ten days of publication.

On behalf of the late Georgekutty P. Eappen and his family, we would like to thank you for the kindness you have shown us during this difficult time. Your support and prayers have been incredibly appreciated and demonstrate the strength of the Mar Thoma church Community. We would like to thank all those who were able to attend his viewing and funeral service. A special thanks to Achen, executive committee members, the choir, volunteers, ushers and the video sound system staff.
